When young Jeremy is recruited by the friendly Captain Braid Beard and his mates to help find the perfect spot for their treasure, the pirate crew shares the ins and outs of a pirate's life at sea, including how to talk like a pirate and "proper" pirate etiquette (or the lack thereof). Based on the acclaimed children's book of the same name, How I Became a Pirate is a new musical adventure story of finding one's own heart - a path that can't be found on any treasure map! Produced and performed by the Jefferson Performing Arts Society. Be sure to bring the kids dressed in their pjs - we'll give them milk and cookies before going home!
