Jurassic Saturday continues with our first movie screening of the season…and it’s a monster. Steven Spielberg’s groundbreaking, incredibly influential film is considered the ultimate dinosaur movie. Our resident film historian Dr. Jason Landrum will introduce the film and share some fun facts about the making of this cinema classic. Free popcorn and dinosaur “swag bag” included with your purchase while supplies last.

The Last Waltz
The Last Waltz
An array of local musicians join forces on the Columbia stage to perform the set list from the famous farewell concert by The Band. Featuring Byron Daniel and The Five Dead Dogs, Will Vance, Soul Revival, Brasshearts Horns, Todd Lemoine, Callie Hines, and many more! This event is a fundraiser for Lion Up Recovery. VIP ticket includes a reusable, spill-proof Columbia Theatre tumbler.

Murder! At The Disco: A Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre
Break out your polyester and platform shoes and get ready to party like there’s no tomorrow. Unfortunately, for some of our guests there really won’t be a tomorrow. It seems somebody doesn’t like jumpsuits and gold chains….someone who isn’t afraid to get a little blood on the disco ball. One Thirteen Executive Chef Ryan Haigler returns with a delicious meal complete with some scrumptious Candlestick Bakery desserts to keep you well-fed as you help us catch the killer.

Southeastern Opera Theatre Workshop: Little Women, the Musical
Little Women
"Little Women," with a book by Allan Knee, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, and music by Jason Howland, is based on Louisa May Alcott's semi-autobiographical two-volume novel.

Jump into the wild with this all new adaptation of the timeless classic. The House on Haunted Hill and Alice’s Christmas in Wonderland playwright Tommy Jamerson will be working directly with our cast and design team to craft the script for this world premiere production!

Holiday Extravaganza: Southeastern's Big Band Christmas Concert
Southeastern's Big Band Christmas Concert
Join us for our second annual holiday celebration! Explore our decorated lobby, meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, take selfies, listen to live carolers…and that’s just in the lobby. After all of that, stroll into the beautiful Hainkel Hall for some phenomenal, live, big band holiday music. The lobby festivities begin at 6 pm and the concert will start at 7 pm.

Fall in love with one of the all-time greats when we combine forces with Southeastern Theatre to stage William Shakespeare’s classic tale of forbidden romance. Pageantry, swordplay, humor and suspense will all be on display as we present this masterpiece as only the Columbia can. Presented in partnership with the Southeastern Louisiana University Theatre Department.

May the Fourth be with you! Come celebrate this most Star Wars of days with what many consider to be the greatest Star Wars of them all.
